Work Experience and Employability Opportunities

Inspiralba have a charitable objective to support employment and training opportunities, as such we have support for a number of initiatives to stimulate and support employment, training and work expereince, including in house opportunities.

Investing in Communities Employability and Learning

Inspiralba are a delivery partner for Fyne Homes, Investing in Communities project activity which aims to develop skills and capacity, including employability opportunities with social enterprise.


This has included supporting 31 employment training opportunities since 2020, assisting to build capacity for social enterprises and assisting employed trainees to develop skills, experience and earn an income through meaningful work.

Work Experience Opportunities:

In response to the challenges of lockdown and with support from Scottish Government and Fyne Homes and Argyll and Bute Council, alongside Argyll and Bute Youth Forum and DYW Argyll, Inspiralba, partnered with local social enterprises across the area to offer a range of Virtual Work Experience Opportunities for young people in 2020-21.  A Youth Engagement and Outreach Worker provided support to this work from September 2020 – July 2021.  The full project report is available here: SEWE Programme Project final report

Kickstart Opportunities for Young People

Inspiralba are a Gateway Organisation, supporting the UK Government’s Kick-Start Scheme. As part of the scheme, we are offering employment opportunities for young people aged between 18 and 24 years of age who are currently receiving Universal Credit. These posts include vacancies with Inspiralba as well as vacancies with social enterprises across our operational area.
